Percy Robert Miller, professionally known as Master P, was born in New Orleans on April 29, 1967. He is the oldest of his five siblings. He studied at the Booker T. Washington High School Warren Easton High School. Because he was a part of the basketball team in high school, he got enrolled at the University of Houston on athletic based scholarship. Where he was dropped out in his freshmen year, he got his transfer to Merritt College in California in order to major in Business.
After the death of his grandfather, he acquired a huge amount of money which he inherited from is the late grandfather. Miller used this money to open up a record house in California which he named as No Limit Records. No Limit Records later then laid the foundation of his own record label.
With the loss of his brother, he did not want that to affect his career. Whereas Miller took this as a motivation to become an established entrepreneur and to change his life as well as to safeguard his family.
Miller released his debut studio album on February 12, 1991, Get Away Clean. This was quickly followed by his second album which he named as Mama’s Bad Boy. Whereas he presented his first collaboration album in 1993 along with his group called: Who’s da Killer? That followed many other releases by Miller. Besides being a Rapper Miller was also a successful entrepreneur and an investor. Which he established from the inherited money that he got after the death of his grandfather.
Miller married Sonya Miller in 1989 and have 9 children. However, his wife filed for divorce recently. Miller also showed interest in politics and was actively involved in it.
