Nelly, born Cornell Iral Haynes Jr. in November of 1974, is a famous rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and entrepreneur. The start of his musical career came from his hip-hop group called St. Lunatics that came into being in 1993. The group was signed by Universal Records in 1999 and Nelly started his solo career under the same record label just a year later.
